Planar Simplicity range enhanced and extended with P Series 4K LCD displays

Leyard Europe has announced the arrival of the Planar Simplicity P Series, a new high resolution digital signage, streaming and media-playback display unit. The series supports 24/7 usage, offering up to 500-nits brightness in 43-, 50-, 55-, 65-, 75- and 86-inch sizes.

There are also fully integrated multi-touch models for all sizes, featuring twenty simultaneous touch points and fine tip stylus support for interactive experiences. The sleek, slim design, with a logo free bezel and variety of adjustable accessories, ensures the displays are suitable for almost any application, from digital signage or wayfinding to emergency messaging or advertising.

The screens follow the industry’s most stringent cybersecurity certification, developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), making the entire range more secure against large-scale cyberattacks that target smart devices. Mountable in horizonal and vertical orientations for expanded usability, the touch screen, interactive models further enhance functionality for applications requiring collaborative elements, such as presentation, annotation or end user engagement.

The Planar Simplicity P Series is Energy Star certified, identifying the range as a solution that reduces running costs and electricity consumption. If displays are not required to run 24/7, automated scheduling enables devices to run media playback only when required. The new series is fully compatible with Creston, Q-Sys and Control4 systems. The MicroSD storage capabilities, coupled with USB 3.0 and 2.0, Network, HDMI, USB-C and audio connections make this display a flexible multi-purpose unit.
