Johan Pretorius

VuWall has appointed Johan Pretorius as its new South African-based Director of Business Development for Africa. Pretorius brings thirty-eight years of experience to the role. “I am proud to welcome him as the newest member of our international sales team”, says Eric Hénique, Executive Vice President of Sales at VuWall. “As VuWall’s first customer in South Africa, Johan has been working with VuWall solutions for more than ten years and has always been a strong advocate.”

Based in the city of Cape Town, Pretorius will drive strategic business initiatives tailored to transform control rooms across all English-speaking countries in Africa. He will focus on ensuring VuWall’s technology meets the needs of the African market, forming partnerships with local and international stakeholders and fostering supplier relationships to enhance operational efficiency.

Pretorius was the founder and Managing Director at Oculus Operational Innovations for more than fourteen years. He has a deep understanding of the demands of control center design and skills in general management, marketing, business development, and strategic operational management.
