Shure introduces IntelliMix Room Kits

Shure has announced its new IntelliMix Room Kits. These complete Microsoft Teams Room systems, on Windows, are designed for deployment in small to large meeting rooms, up to 33 x 18 ft (10 x 5.5 m).

Clear audio quality is crucial for meeting participants and the accuracy of AI-driven tools. In the workplace, AI tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot rely on the intelligibility of the audio input to generate accurate transcriptions and summaries, to ensure key points and action items are understood, and to identify and attribute talkers in the room. The IntelliMix Room software enhances speech and removes distracting sounds to ensure every word is heard clearly and transcribed accurately.

“High-quality audio helps convey the nuances of vocal expressions, emotions, and tone, which will aid advanced AI tools in understanding intent and enhancing communication and collaboration among team members, especially for remote participants”, says Sam Sabet, Chief Technology Officer at Shure. “Shure’s new IntelliMix Room Kits are designed to provide reliable audio, bridging the gap between remote teams and fostering a more inclusive and efficient collaboration environment.”

Shure’s DSP comes pre-installed and pre-configured on the Teams Room compute for automatic connection to Shure’s MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker. The IntelliMix Room software acts as if an AV expert is in every box, providing the desired sound quality featuring AI-enhanced, echo-free, noise-free and reverb-free meeting audio. AI-powered Huddly video cameras feature Huddly Director and Group Framing, automatically framing participants and optimising the video experience.

Each IntelliMix Room Kit is a Windows-based modular Teams Room solution. Shure offers four curated, complete room kits, allowing customers to select their preferred system based on room size:

- IntelliMix Room Kit 30: Small to Medium Rooms up to 20 x 18 ft (6 x 5.5 m); IntelliMix Foundation Compute with 8 channels of IntelliMix Room DSP; IntelliMix Touch Panel; MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker; Huddly IQ Camera

- IntelliMix Room Kit 50: Medium to Large Rooms up to 32 x 16.5 ft (10 x 5 m); IntelliMix Foundation Compute with 8 channels of IntelliMix Room DSP; IntelliMix Touch Panel; MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker; Huddly L1 Camera

- IntelliMix Room Kit 70: Large Rooms up to 33 x 16.5 ft (10 x 5 m); IntelliMix Foundation Compute with 8 channels of IntelliMix Room DSP; IntelliMix Touch Panel; (2) MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker; Huddly L1 Camera

- IntelliMix Room Kit 80: Reconfigurable Spaces up to 33 x 18 ft (10 x 5.5 m); IntelliMix Foundation Compute with 8 channels of IntelliMix Room DSP; IntelliMix Touch Panel; (2) MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker; Huddly Crew Camera Set.

Complementing Microsoft’s built-in security features for calls and collaboration in Teams, IntelliMix Room Kit equipment allows IT teams to monitor and manage the system remotely from anywhere via Teams Admin Center Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal, ShureCloud, and integration with enterprise IT management platforms.

IntelliMix Room Kits will be available in Spring 2025.
