Stage Audio Works Namibia delivers advanced AV solutions for financial services provider

Stage Audio Works Namibia recently completed an audiovisual project for a financial services provider in Windhoek, Namibia. Contracted by Mach 10 (previously Dimension Data), Stage Audio Works handled the design, installation, and implementation of AV solutions across various rooms within the provider’s office, including two main boardrooms, a training room, an open-plan cafeteria, and digital signage throughout the building.

This major AV overhaul enhances video conferencing (VC), audio clarity, and flexibility to support both in-person and remote collaboration, all while allowing for future expansion. The close partnership between the Stage Audio Works team - led by Stage Audio Works Namibia’s Emcé Smit - and the client’s on-site staff allowed for seamless attention to detail at every stage.

The first boardroom, designed for nine participants, was already equipped with a dual-screen setup. Stage Audio Works added a complete Microsoft Teams Rooms solution. Key technology installed in this space includes the Crestron Flex Advanced VC System Integrator Kit, providing video and controls, paired with a PTZ camera for video output. Sound clarity was achieved with Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling microphones and Xilica processors for audio customisation, supported by Audac ceiling speakers and amp.

The second boardroom, seating up to twelve people, offers additional functionality to accommodate larger, flexible setups. The space was outfitted with a dual-85’’ screen system, allowing participants to view shared content and remote attendees side by side. This room’s sub-divisible design enables it to connect to the adjacent cafeteria, providing the option to convert into an expanded meeting space for larger gatherings by opening sliding doors.

Two Samsung 85’’ professional displays were installed alongside the Crestron Flex Teams Room kit and PTZ camera for comprehensive coverage. The Crestron Cresnet Partition Sensor and Distribution Amplifier help synchronise VC meetings across the boardroom and cafeteria when needed.

For the provider’s training room, Stage Audio Works deployed a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution, offering flexibility for presentations and training sessions. The room features a Samsung Flip interactive digital chart mounted on a Stage Plus screen stand and a VC Bar, allowing users to connect personal devices and share content.

In the cafeteria, which doubles as a multifunctional space for staff functions, an integrated audio solution supports both casual gatherings and large company events. The cafeteria setup includes an Audac MFA216 amplifier paired with Audac ATEO6 speakers and a BMP42 professional Bluetooth module for wireless audio input.

Throughout the building, digital signage screens also provide centralised, dynamic content displays, including company information and media. Using Crestron DM NVX E20 4K60 network AV encoders and D20 decoders connected to Samsung professional displays, the digital signage allows seamless content sharing from a centralised management system. This setup empowers the client to share company updates, statistics, and live broadcasts, ensuring all employees have immediate access to relevant information.

“We wanted to create an AV solution that was both futureproof and adaptable to evolving office requirements”, says Udo Stehle, sales representative for Stage Audio Works Namibia. “The digital signage setup is an example of this adaptability, providing a platform that can evolve with the client’s needs.”

The AV solutions provided were selected for their compatibility with the final service provider’s current needs and potential for future scalability. The phased approach means that as office spaces undergo renovations, the AV components can be moved and integrated into new setups. The MagicInfo platform is a key aspect of this solution, enabling centralised media management, while the beamforming technology in the Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling microphones ensures adaptable audio pickup based on room layout and occupancy.
