Kenneth Jakobsen

Plusfortyfive ApS is a new venture launched by the Generator Group in Denmark whose businesses and brands also include event and show technical production specialist Vigsø.eu, and automation solutions manufacturer Motor Stage Automation. The Danish-headquartered operation is headed by Kenneth Jakobsen, who brings twenty years of industry experience and will be distributing and supporting several brands throughout the Scandinavian region.

The company hits the ground running with two German brands onboard - GLP (German Lighting Products) and Hof, whose portfolio includes trussing, stage and rigging products. “GLP, Hof and Plusfortyfive are an excellent combination”, states Jakobsen, “giving great foundations on which we will build Plusfortyfive’s business, reputation, relationships and future.”

Jakobsen and his team aim to grow the business organically through establishing a series of additional regional offices and partnerships, starting in Norway and Sweden. The main storage facility will be in Denmark, offering a single point of contact and a commercial hub in the heart of Scandinavia, in close proximity to and easy reach of the other Scandinavian countries.

The local offices will be run by specialists familiar with the industry and tuned in to their specific regional requirements, with time and resources invested into product demonstrations and training.
