Sonical acquires strategic assets from Hue Hearing

Sonical, creators of CosmOS, the world’s first operating system for ears, have announced the strategic acquisition of key assets from Hue Hearing, a hearing solutions company.

This acquisition supports Sonical’s ambition to drive forward the next generation of intelligent audio wearables - known as Headphone 3.0 - where headphones function more like smartphones, offering personalised, app-enabled audio experiences via the CosmOS platform.

Hue Hearing has built a substantial customer base of people seeking accessible and effective hearing solutions. The company identified a clear gap in the market: customers are looking for more than basic sound amplification - they want smart, adaptive, and customisable hearing technology. Hue Hearing therefore collaborates with Sonical’s CosmOS, as the most advanced and scalable platform to address these needs.

The acquisition provides Sonical with consumer insight, product and technology requirements, and distribution capabilities to support the development and launch of new hearing enhancement products powered by CosmOS.
